Tras una épica semana de premios, la cosa se aprieta en la mayoría de categorías. Si hace siete días parecía que nadie podría hacer frente a “Zero Dark Thirty”, las nominaciones del Gremio de Actores daba un vuelco a la situación, dejando al filme de Kathryn Bigelow fuera de las nominadas a Mejor Reparto. Desde ese momento, “Zero Dark Thirty” ha seguido sumando premios hasta lograr un total de 9 galardones, pero “Argo” ha ido cogiendo fuerza hasta lograr, a día de hoy 5 galardones. Lo mismo ocurre con la categoría de Mejor Director, donde Ben Affleck parece dispuesto a amargar la carrera triunfal de Bigelow.
A todo esto, dos categorías concentran la emoción de cara a la noche de los Oscar: Mejor Actriz y Mejor Actor Secundario. En la primera, Jessica Chastain (con 9 premios) y Jennifer Lawrence (con 7) se enfrentan en una lucha ajustada, de la que parece caerse Emmanuel Riva. En la segunda, Tommy Lee Jones (con 6 premios) y Philip Seymour Hoffman (con 7) no dan su brazo a torcer y todo apunta a una ajustada lucha hasta el final.
A todo esto, el cine español va encontrando su hueco gracias a la entrada entre las nominadas a Mejor Actriz de Naomi Watts por “Lo imposible” y de Javier Bardem como secundario por “Skyfall”.
